It's an 8-bit video game console on a tiny circuit board! The Arduboy Mini includes over 300 games but shrinks the size. Without a case or battery (speaker included!) of the full size Arduboy FX, the Mini is a cute-as-heck piece of functional circuit board art. Complete with USB-C Port!
Arduboy Mini reduces the cost, being more affordable for scenarios like a school , where all of the bells and whistles are not necessary to experience the joys of developing games on 8-bit hardware. Without the case, you can see and touch the electronics you are programming and can be used to teach what each of the components do.
A 5mm piezo speaker, Qwiic (i2c) connector and a 1.25mm Molex battery connector has been added! While the battery is not included, the circuitry for battery charging is all on-board. All of the pins from the microcontroller are available and an ISCP header for reprogramming the bootloader is provided as well.
